CLINICS & CAMPS

Whether you are looking for a day out with your horse or a longer break there is so much to do at Bucklebury.

Our camps are very popular, either for Birthday Parties or just an excuse for a mini break with family and friends. Riding Clubs bringing their own Instructors, or Pony Clubs for Summer Camps and Rallies…..Or bring a picnic and just come for the day!!

Many of our visitors have bought their partners and children along too, plus bikes! Clay pigeon shooting can now also be arranged and Bucklebury Farm Park is very close by, across a field! One group of campers went for an afternoon learning how to paddle board at nearby Theale.

hacking

Bucklebury has miles of Bridle paths and Byways. One of our mapped rides is 10 miles all off road except for 500 yards on a very quiet road. Hack straight from the farm onto Bucklebury Common or go another direction into Yattendon Woods. These rides can lead you to West Berkshire Brewery, or several of the local pubs that are very ‘horse friendly’.

Bucklebury Equestrian provides the perfect venue for groups of friends looking to enjoy a day out or mini break with your horses.

Our British Eventing approved cross country course, together with show jump paddock, working hunter course, all weather and grass dressage arenas, miles of local hacking along bridleways, by-ways, farmland, woodland and quiet country lanes with traditional country pubs along the way for lunch or refreshments offer everything you could wish for.

For days out you are welcome to park your horse trailer or horsebox up at Bucklebury Equestrian and go off exploring.

For overnight stays we offer temporary stables and grazing paddocks for the horses and for the riders we have toilets, kitchen and barbecue facilities, lounge and dining area, wifi, electric hook ups for those wanting to stay in their lorries, a camping area for those wanting to pitch a tent or there is also a great selection of local B&Bs available.

The owners and staff at Bucklebury Equestrian live on site so there is always somebody checking on the horses for those that want to explore the local area or pop down to a local pub for a drink or meal.
